The Fellowship Fund

Toward the end of May 2010, I retired from the world of controversial journalism to spend my "off hours" writing novels on topics in my areas of interest.  It may not seem a far stretch from my job as an editor, but it really is quite different.  It is enough different, in fact, that it feels like I'm doing something else entirely.

M, Incomparably Offcourse

My new writing blog is accessible on the left.  Many of those blogs deal with my research and the process of writing four novels now in the loop.  Others center around complete random ramblings about writing in general.

In conjunction with the blog is an ongoing fellowship to assist with funding for research and timely production of the books.  An opportunity to contribute to the fellowship is provided through the PayPal link above for those who are interested in becoming a part of the Master Plan.

I'll also write book reviews.  The roster of reviews will grow in time.  It comes with the new mindset of finishing everything I start, including books that I thought looked interesting and turned out to be rubbish!  They are not all current and best-selling titles.  In fact, most of them aren't.  I often run across books that have been out for years, sometimes decades, and yet I've never read them.  As an example, the three-volume set of Your Face Tomorrow is on my list to read and review.  It's been out since 2005.  Another is Winesburg, Ohio, published in 1919.
